Infomercial Products As Seen On TV Are Put To The Test

infomercial products as seen on tvHome columnist Gary Dymski has done what I wish I could have done. Well, I sort of have with my occasional TV shopping trips for products but it does not make for nearly as thorough a job as this writer did. What did he do? He went out and bought a bunch of infomercial products as seen on TV and put them to the test. He then went home and roasted, juiced, mixed, repaired and lighted his life up with some good products and some not so good products.

He liked the Jack LaLanne Power Juicer pretty much. It churned out some pretty good juice, with little mess, until he bought the Breville ikon Multi-Speed Juice Fountain and found that it was a whole lot better, albeit more expensive. He also tried out the Flavorwave Deluxe Oven by cooking a chicken in it and had some good results, so this was a thumbs up product.

The ones that didn't fare so well? The Magic Putty that repaired a table leg but left a stain on the leg that he would have to repair. The Stick N Click Lighting Disks seemed useless to him and the Magic Bullet Blender Mixer (which I gave a descent rating to in the past) he did not like at all, claiming that it did not mix or blend the smoothie he was trying to create.

So, like I have said before, it is hit or miss with these products. If you have nothing better to do and some money to spend, purchase some yourself and see what your results come out to be.
