A Review Of The As Seen On TV Portable Steam Cleaners

Wouldn't you just love to throw out all of your toxic chemical cleaners that are taking up space in your cleaning cabinet? Wouldn't it be nice to have one tool, that is safe and reliable, to clean and disinfect all your countertops, toilets, bathtub, shower and more? Well, that is just what I thought when I saw the as seen on TV portable steam cleaner. So what did I do? No, I did not order this one from the TV, I went down to the local Walgreens and purchased one.

I was so excited to get this product that would sanitize and deodorize virtually every surface of my house, including my ceramic tile floors that I ripped open the box and put it together right away. I was all ready to get rid of my grime, grease, mold and mildew I let it heat up and started steaming away.

Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. The little steamer just wouldn't put out the power it showed on the TV. I sprayed and steamed but it did little but get everything in my house wet.

While I really love the concept of the portable steam cleaners, I am afraid I am just going to have to fork over some more money for a more powerful model, if they make one. I honestly haven't looked, having given up my quest for a perfectly steamed house some time ago.
